Hire an n8n developer for your UK team
I am Ann Chisom, an AI automation engineer. I build n8n workflows, AI agents and internal tools for teams that are tired of doing the same work by hand, then hand everything over with clear documentation so your team owns it.
Most of my work is for teams in the UK, US and Australia. I work from Nigeria on UTC+1, so we share most of the UK working day.
Signs it is time to hire an n8n developer
- ●Leads sit in an inbox or a spreadsheet until someone has time to follow up.
- ●Your team copies the same data between tools every day.
- ●Documents, invoices or forms are processed by hand, one at a time.
- ●Your CRM, email, calendar and finance tools do not talk to each other.
- ●Reports are built manually every week, so decisions run on old numbers.
- ●Your Zapier or Make bill keeps climbing, or workflows keep breaking and nobody knows why.
What an n8n developer can build for you
Lead capture, routing and follow-up
Forms, inboxes and ads feed your CRM, leads are scored and routed, and follow-ups go out on time. Built around tools like HubSpot, Pipedrive and GoHighLevel.
AI agents for sales and support
Agents that qualify leads, answer questions and book calls over SMS, email and chat, with a human kept in the loop where it matters.
System integrations and back-office sync
Jobs, documents, scheduling and invoices moving between tools such as Outlook, SharePoint and Xero with no re-typing. One field services build runs on a 90-node n8n workflow.
Document processing
Pulling data out of PDFs, scans and forms with OCR and AI models, then pushing it into your systems. See also my document digitization service.
Zapier or Make to n8n migration
I rebuild your existing automations in n8n, test them side by side with the old ones, and switch over once they match.
Debugging broken workflows
A workflow that fails, stops halfway or gives wrong results. I find the cause, fix it and add alerts so the next failure does not go unnoticed. Works for n8n, Make and Zapier.
Clean-up and speed-ups
Workflows that have grown messy, slow or expensive to run. I clean up the steps, remove what is duplicated, make it faster and document it so your team can follow it.
Custom internal tools
Small dashboards and back-office apps on Next.js and Supabase, for the jobs a spreadsheet and a few automations cannot handle.
Teams I work well with
I am a good fit when there is a clear process that costs your team time every week and you want it working, documented and yours.
- ●Small and mid-sized businesses with sales, marketing, finance or operations work that is still manual.
- ●Agencies and consultancies that want automation delivered under their own client work.
- ●Field service, healthcare, property and recruitment teams with scheduling, documents and follow-up to keep on top of.
- ●Teams that already use n8n, Make or Zapier and need someone to build properly or fix what is there.

How an n8n project works: audit, build, document, hand over
- 01
Audit
A 30-minute call to find the manual work worth automating first and agree what done looks like.
- 02
Build
I build in your accounts and tools, in small pieces you can see working, and test with your real data.
- 03
Document
Every workflow comes with clear notes so anyone on your team can follow it.
- 04
Hand over
Your team owns it. I stay on for support or further work if you want me to.
How long does the first workflow take?
Your first workflow is usually live in about 2 weeks, and often sooner. How long it takes depends on how complicated your current process is, how many tools it touches and how tidy the data behind it is.
A simple workflow can be faster. A messy process or a lot of old data can take longer. I will tell you that after the first call, with a date, before you commit to anything.
n8n or Zapier or Make: which one is right for you?
I build in all three, and I recommend the one that fits your problem, not the one I like best.
- ●Zapier is the quickest to start with and easy for non-technical teams, but it charges per task, so the cost climbs as your volume grows.
- ●Make is visual and good value for medium-complexity workflows with branching and data handling.
- ●n8n is the most flexible. It handles complex logic, AI agents and high volumes well, and you can host it yourself or use n8n Cloud.
How I catch failures
Every workflow I build has error handling. When a step fails, it does not fail quietly. You get an alert, and the failure is logged so it can be fixed and run again, so nothing gets lost without you knowing.
What happens to my data?
Your data stays where it already lives, in your own systems. I build inside your accounts and work with the records you already hold. I do not use your data for anything other than the workflow you asked for, and you stay in control of the accounts when I hand over.
If your business has rules about where data can go, tell me on the first call and I will build around them.
How much does it cost to hire an n8n developer?
Prices are in pounds and these are starting points. Every project is different, so request a quote. After the first call I send a fixed quote, so you know the full cost before I start.
- ●First workflow: £599 to £2,500, depending on how complex it is.
- ●Multi-workflow builds and AI agents: from £3,000.
- ●Custom software: from £3,000.
- ●Fixing or cleaning up an existing workflow: request a quote after a quick look.
- ●Ongoing monitoring and support: £99 a month.
- ●The first 30-minute audit call is free.
What moves the price most is how many tools the workflow connects, whether it uses AI steps, how messy the data is, and whether you want support after handover. Tell me what you want automated and request a quote.
Frequently asked questions
How do I hire an n8n developer?
Book a 30-minute call or send the form below. Tell me what is slowing your team down. I will reply within one business day, agree the scope with you, send a quote and start building in your accounts.
How long does it take to build the first n8n workflow?
About 2 weeks, and often sooner. It depends on how complicated your current process is, how many tools it touches and how tidy your data is. I give you a date after the first call.
What happens to my data?
Your data stays in your own systems. I build inside your accounts, use only what the workflow needs, and you stay in control of the accounts at handover.
Can you fix or take over a workflow someone else built?
Yes. I look at what is there, find why it fails or runs slowly, and fix it. If it is badly built I will tell you whether it is better to repair it or rebuild it. Either way I document it, so your team can follow it afterwards.
Do you work with UK businesses?
Yes. I work with teams in the UK, US, Australia and Nigeria. I am based in Nigeria, on UTC+1, so my working day overlaps with UK hours.
Can you work inside our team?
Yes. I am available as an embedded team member or as an independent contractor, whichever suits how you work.
Do you build on n8n Cloud or self-hosted n8n?
Either. I run my own self-hosted n8n and can build on n8n Cloud or on your server. If your data has to stay in a certain place, tell me on the first call and we will plan around it.
Can you move our automations from Zapier or Make to n8n?
Yes. I rebuild each automation in n8n, test it against the old one with real data, and switch over once the results match. I also work in Make and Power Automate if you prefer to stay there.
Who owns the workflows you build?
You do. I build in your accounts, document everything and hand it over so your team owns it.
What does handover include?
Written notes on what each workflow does and how to change it, plus a walkthrough with your team. Credentials stay in your accounts.
Which tools do you connect to?
Mostly n8n, Make, Power Automate and UiPath for automation, OpenAI and Claude for AI steps, and Supabase and Next.js for custom tools. I connect to the CRM, email and finance tools you already have, such as HubSpot, Twilio and Xero.
